Who we are

Bright Red Design is a web design studio in Reno, Nevada. We build websites for small businesses, and we build yours first, free to look at, before you pay anything. This policy covers this website, our forms, and our phone line.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you fill out a form on this site, we get your name, your business name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message.

Information from phone calls. Our phones are answered by Holly, our AI assistant. She says so at the start of every call, and she also says the call is recorded. We keep the recording and a written summary of the call, so we can build your website and answer you correctly.

Basic website analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit, what type of device they use, and roughly where they are. That tells us which pages help people and which ones need work. It does not tell us your name.

Why we collect it

We use this information to build your free preview website, to answer your questions, to run your website if you become a customer, and to improve our service. That is all we use it for.

What we never do

We never sell your information. We never rent it, trade it, or give it away for marketing. We share it only with the companies that make our service work: FormSubmit delivers our form messages, Google provides our analytics, Twilio runs our phone system, our email provider carries our mail, and Stripe processes card payments if you become a customer. Each of them gets only what it needs to do its job.

Cookies

Our analytics uses cookies, which are small files your browser stores. We do not use cookies to advertise to you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and this site will still work.

Calls and texts

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your website. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text and we will stop texting you. You can also email us anytime and ask us to stop calling.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you. You can ask us to correct it or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will take care of it.

If you live in Nevada or California, the law gives you the right to tell a business not to sell your personal information. We do not sell personal information in the first place, so there is nothing to opt out of.

We keep form messages and call summaries while we are working with you, and for a reasonable time after, so we can answer questions about past work.

Children

Our service is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
